WWE 2K Battleground: What is it, Modes, Download and Much More

WWE 2K Battleground

If you are a fan of arcade games and WWE then this WWE 2K Battleground game is a gift for you. I mean, you’ll be able to enjoy both WWE gaming experience in an arcade-style. The game is developed by Saber Interactive, NBA 2K is also developed by them.

To start playing the game you don’t have to be a master, you can easily pick up the game and honestly, the game is easy to pick for anyone but really hard to master. To perform moves like RKO, Attitude Adjustment, chokeslam, etc, you have to learn advanced techniques and skills.

initially, there will be more than 70 WWE Superstars ( Legends and Hall Of Fall ) in the game. And as you update the game more superstars like Ric Flair, Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior will be available for you. Just like a normal WWE game, there will be modes too.

Some of them are King of the Battleground, Exhibition, One on One, Campaign, Tag Team, Online, royal rumble, Battleground Challenge, and many more. You can enjoy the game on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Windows PC, Google Stadia, and Nintendo Switch.

What is WWE 2K Battleground?

If I tell you, in simple words then WWE 2K Battleground will allow you to experience the old style classic wrestling using cartoonist characters of WWE Superstars. The game creators described this game as a WOW ( World of Wrestling: WWE ), but I personally describe it as a box of joy that is filled with arcade action, in the face, and all the favorite superstars of WWE.

People who belong to nations like the US, UK, Australia, Canada, etc have almost tried it. This game also provides you a quality mode, using this quality mode you can play against AI or their companions through offline and online matches. Every WWE Superstar in the game has its own unique skillset, to use them you have to learn advanced level techniques of the game.

WWE 2K Battleground Modes

In the game, you’ll find many modes some of them are very common like One on One, Tag Team, Fatal 4-way, Royal Rumble and many more. But I won’t describe them below instead their are some unique modes like King of the Battleround, Battleground Challenge, etc and I will describe them one by one below. So without any further due let’s get started!

  • King of the Battleground
  • Exhibition
  • Campaign
  • Online Tournament
  • Battleground Challenge

King of the Battleground

In the King of the battleground mode, you will start the match with 7 other WWE superstars. Now you have to throw them out of the ring while saving yourself.

The longer you’ll be able to stay in the area, the more score will go up. Now, if you will be able to send someone out of the ring, the next player of WWE Superstar will join the match.

Now talking about the Exhibition mode then this mode will help you to fight with your friends against computers in a tag team match or you can fight against your friend in a one on one match.

Including one on one and tag team matches. The exhibition mode will also allow you to play matches like Triple Threat, Fatal Four-Way, Royal Rumble, and cage matches.

In this mode, you’ll play a story where gamers have to team up with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Paul Heyman. In the story mode, you will travel the world, in the search of new WWE superstars for absolutely new WWE brand.

You will play the game as one of the 7 newly created WWE superstars such as Bolo Reynolds and Jessica Johnson. While traveling the globe you have to fight against different-different superstars to unlock new characters, powers, and many more.

Online Tournament

This mode is nothing but competing others or should I say fighting with random players in an online tournament. Including this mode was necessary as it can increase the interest of the game users.

Because how long can you play with the same friend and if your friend is not good enough to play then you might get bored.

That is the main reason for integrating this online tournament mode. You just need to keep an eye on the tournament when the new tournament is going to happen.

Battleground Challenge

Using Battleground challenge mode, you can create your personal WWE superstar and battle via ranks. You can customize your character in many ways, you can customize their physical appearance, their skillsets.

You can also customize their vanity items and you can decide whether your player is going to be a high-flyer or technician. I think this mode is the best among the others cause you have all the power of creating a WWE superstar of your choice.
